  • Stripe Security- Security is a huge concern for any business that accepts credit cards, especially online. One thing we particularly liked about Stripe is that it handles security so you don't have to. First, Stripe processes transactions on its own network. This means no sensitive data actually touches your servers,so hackers won't have access to your business's or customers' credit card information if you're ever the victim of a cyber attack.

Stripe has automatically implemented several layers of protection specifically designed for Web-based financial transactions. For instance, Stripe's client libraries and mobile API meet such industry standards as PCI-DSS requirements, so you're always compliant. Stripe is also certified as PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of security certification for the payment card industry. Two-factor authentication is also available to further protect and prevent unauthorized access to your account.

  • As a start-up idea, Teenwork.co.nz will not be registered as a charitable trust, however should the idea grow we intend for this business to seek charitable status.

At a minimum, Teenwork.co.nz will donate 50% of all revenue to charities with the intention to distrbute all profits once administration costs are being covered by listing fees. Where a 50% share is not covering the costs of providing this service, the deficit will be covered by the owner.

Administration costs consist of website (hosting and management) costs, and the cost of employing teenagers to promote teenwork.co.nz and review / approve employer and employee listings.

Website costs are generally fixed in nature (technical support will vary depending on need). The number of teenagers employed will depend on the number of listings to be reviewed.

  • Teenwork is the brainchild of Will Roberts. Having raised two teenagers Will recognised how difficult it can be for teenagers with different family circumstances and social confidence, to seek out and find that first job. Teenwork is designed to help make that process easy while providing parents with some security around their childrens activities.

Will Roberts is also an Authorised Financial Adviser and his profile can be found ion LinkedIn. His hope is that this website will help teenagers gain work skills and useful knowledge of the employment market.

  • The $8 fee serves 2 purposes. The first is to provide income to cover expenses and to generate revenue for youth charities. The second reason is a security measure. By collecting credit or debit card infomation from job listing we discourage fake and inappropriate listings.
